During the first full week of October, the Association for Healthcare Foodservice recognizes Foodservice Workers during the Health Foodservice Workers Week. From October 2-Ocotber 8, 2022, Mission Health Communities will celebrate this year’s theme “A Fresh Start Together”, meaning that each day is a fresh start with an entire team behind every plate that is put in front of staff, family members, and most importantly, our residents. We overcome challenges every day and the only way to eliminate the obstacles is to come together as one. 

How are Mission Health communities celebrating? 

We asked all communities to send in a video from residents and administrators expressing their favorite meal the foodservice team has provided and how well the team has created togetherness over the last year. We also asked the foodservice professionals to reveal why they love working in foodservice for their community. Check out our TikTok (@missionhealth) to see what everyone has to say!  

Also, the communities are celebrating with a week-long and community-wide event. Each day has a different theme and different treats! From hotdogs, to sandwiches, to cinnamon rolls, each community is ready to spoil their foodservice team! Keep a lookout on Facebook to see the celebrations.
